There is much to be said about the act of setting goals. Or should I say, the art of goal setting. Anyone can set a goal, but it takes true insight, dedication and mindset to achieve goals that take you out of your comfort zone and stretch your capability.

There are many different methods of setting goals that one can use. As such, this workbook presents a number of different techniques and exercises for you to apply when setting your goals. I encourage you to consider each section as you work through this workbook, but only use the one's which resonate with you. Much like the goals you set, the goal setting process should stretch you enough to take you out of your comfort zone, but still remain engaging and motivating to undertake. Of course, if you are ready to use all of the exercises, this is strongly encouraged to enhance

your goal setting process. Early in the workbook you will be asked to identify 3-5 goals which you would like to achieve within the next 12 months. These goals should be applied to the rest of the exercises contained in the workbook.

Once you have worked your way through this workbook you will have developed a detailed plan of how to achieve each of your goals, how they relate to your values and how they satisfy your deep personal needs. This comprehensive approach to goal setting goes beyond most conventional practices and is based on well researched positive psychology concepts to support you in successfully achieving what you set out to accomplish.
